The newest ArtCube is built for UCF's Creative Village campus in downtown Orlando. It showcases student artwork to the public through vivid projection — a glowing beacon of creativity visible day and night.
Our system is designed to look stunning in both daylight and darkness. The projection technology delivers punchy, saturated visuals that hold their own under the Florida sun and transform into a luminous art portal after sunset.
The entire system is managed remotely by 42 AV's 24/7 HelpDesk team — content updates, troubleshooting, and monitoring happen without anyone needing to touch the container.

The ArtCube isn't just an installation — it's a platform. A rugged, self-contained shipping container that can be dropped into a plaza, a campus, a festival, or a city block and start showcasing art immediately.
Inside, a professional projection mapping system driven by Resolume wraps the container walls in vivid digital artwork. The system can switch between digital projections and traditional gallery mode with physical artworks on display — two experiences in one container.

The first ArtCube was built in collaboration with INTERSTRUCT in 2022 and installed outside their office. It's been running continuously since — hosting art shows, community happy hours, and live artist performances.
It proved the concept: a shipping container can become a world-class micro gallery that draws people in, sparks conversation, and activates public space. The success of the original led directly to the UCF commission.
