Most people think of projection mapping as an event thing. a single night, a spectacular reveal, gone the next morning. We do the permanent version. Projectors that are precisely calibrated and mounted, content that is engineered to run automatically on a schedule, and systems that maintain their calibration through Florida heat and seasonal changes.
A permanent projection environment requires a completely different approach than an event install. The projectors need proper mounting solutions, ventilation, and access for maintenance. The media server needs to be robust and remotely manageable. The mapping needs to hold its alignment through building movement and seasonal thermal changes.
We've done both interior and exterior permanent installations. Interior projection environments where the walls, ceiling, and floor become seamless display surfaces. Exterior building projections that run every night as part of a hotel or venue's permanent experience. Both require precision and planning that event-focused companies rarely have experience with.
Precision Before the Projector Arrives
Permanent projection mapping starts with a site survey. measuring every surface, understanding ambient light at every hour, identifying mounting locations that are maintainable and secure. Then we model the surface geometry, plan the projector array, calculate throw distances, and determine exactly what brightness and resolution we need.
Content design happens in parallel with technical engineering. The two inform each other. A piece of content that works at a certain scale on a certain surface requires the projector spec to match it. We coordinate all of this before a single piece of equipment is ordered.
