We create permanent light sculptures and large-scale art for the places where people gather. Dichroic, LED, kinetic, architectural. work that becomes part of a city's story.
Commission SomethingThis isn't decoration. The work we create is designed to land in a public space and change how people feel when they move through it. A lobby becomes a gathering place. A plaza becomes a destination. A building facade becomes a landmark.
We've built dichroic glass light sculptures that throw spectrum across a room as the sun moves. We've created laser art installations visible from across a lake. We've fabricated LED structures that traveled to the Nevada desert and back. We've built immersive art environments that stop people mid-step and make them look up.
Our founder Josh Almeida has been called a "light artist". but the technical infrastructure behind that work is as rigorous as anything we build in a resort ballroom. Every piece is engineered to last, to be maintainable, and to do something visually that you can't replicate any other way.
Public art commissions have a long arc. We're comfortable with that. We start with conversations about the space, the community it serves, the budget, the maintenance reality, and what kind of experience is worth creating there.
From there we develop concepts. sometimes several. with renderings and material samples. Once direction is set, we move into engineering and fabrication. We handle structural load requirements, electrical coordination, and permitting support where needed.
Installation is often the most dramatic part. We've moved 600-pound sculptures through narrow doorways, rigged pieces at height, and coordinated multi-day installs in operating lobbies. We're prepared for all of it.
Public art budgets come from different places. Real estate developers use art to anchor a development's identity. Cities use public art to activate civic spaces. Corporations commission lobby installations that communicate values and create moments for the people who work and visit there.
We work with all three. Our technical capability means we can build things that other studios can concept but can't execute. Our AV background means the lighting is right, the power is right, and the ongoing operation is reliable for years after install day.
We've also done immersive environments for festivals and events. but our permanent installation work is where we live. Pieces that stay in a place, season after season, and keep delivering.
